Hi, this is Rosie with some thought on our beach trip. At Foxton beach I had lots of fun. We went to the mud flats and I found lots of holes and crabs. After that we went to the sand dune place. I ran up the sand dunes and fell down it. I learnt that spinifex flowers are not pretty.

It sounds like you all had a fantastic time at the beach. Can you tell me why spinifex are not pretty? Do you have a photo that I can see? and does spinifex only grow at the beach?

what do spinifex flowers look like? and what are mud flats?
Because they dont look like normal flowers and yes spinifex does only grow at the beach.The mud flats are a big pit of sand and mud filled with lots of crabs! Spinifex looks like a big bundle/ball of spikes !
