The Te Manawa trip

Room 15 and Room 13 and I went to Te Manawa to find out about Maori weaving. We made a fish out of  flax.  It was fun and we also did a scavenger hunt at Palmerston North square and the library. Our groups had to take photos for proof.  There is a cool room full of mirrors at Te Manawa. They were really cool.

The Te Manawa trip

Hello I'm Amber On Wednsday room 15  piled on the bus and then off the bus drove to  Te Manawa. First room 15  split into groups then, we headed to the square for a scavanger hunt,

as we (my group) headed  to the library  for another hunt we discovered that we were in the

Room 15 and  13 went on  a  bus trip  to  Te Manawa  in  Palmerston  North  to find  out  about       maori weaving out of flax to make  a fish  it  was  hard  to  make it. We  had  a scavenger  hunt

for the  children  and  adults to find  outside  and  the  library  to.

the fishy flax fish

As our ears were open to find out what we are going to make were going to make a fish it seems so simple it terns out it was hard really hard we had to make sure it was right. It was wednesday the 13th of  May.Te Manawa   looks so different then the last time I was here.I thought to myself.

Now how you make a fish is you need to pinch a hole in the middle after a few more instructions we had finished and now I have finished the story.
