Room 15 have been working on things to do with space and gravity. We have done 3 experiments with paper and a shoe. The first experiment was with a flat piece of paper and a shoe to see which one would land first. The second experiment was with a piece of paper folded twice then third it was a screwed up piece of paper. The results are in the videos above. After this we had to write our results in our books. It was fun learning too.

Young Cyclists
Hi my name is Jack
At the Young Cyclist event we started off with a practise of the course, then we headed to the middle of the fire station to do the written test. We had 20 minutes to do it then we headed over to the course. We formed a line, I was 7th. This is the skills course - we had to start with the 10 second course then the u-turn, then we had to ride through half tennis balls then the road course. We started with a swerve, then we turned right, swerved through some cones turned left, over the bumps, turned right and over the fire hose.
After that we had a sausage sizzle then the prizes were given out.
I felt nervous at the start but came through and was not so afraid. Being a part of the Feilding finals was big for me.
