Hi, this is Rosie with some thought on our beach trip. At Foxton beach I had lots of fun. We went to the mud flats and I found lots of holes and crabs. After that we went to the sand dune place. I ran up the sand dunes and fell down it. I learnt that spinifex flowers are not pretty.

Da beach
Hi it's Mason here and I thought the beach was awesome. Remember to keep the beach clean and when you play on the sand dunes don't jump on the plants. The plants are what keeps the sand dunes where they are. So next time you are at the beach don't destroy the plants.

At the beach
Hi this is Anya. On Tuesday Room 15 and Room 13 went to Foxton beach. We all got exhausted from the walking we did through the sand dunes. We learnt that crabs dig holes so they can live in them. I enjoyed the counting the crab holes on the mud flats.

Foxton Beach trip
Hi this is Logan here. Last Tuesday I went to the Mud Flats at Foxton Beach. We had to make squares with a 50 Centimetre stick and see how many Crab holes there were. This is amazing because my groups most holes was Twenty One.

My favourite Beach trip.
Hello I'm Devon .I went to the mud flats and made squares and counted how many crab holes there were. The thing I did not like was the walking. I saw a jet at the end of our walk and it looked like it was going into the Earth.

Hi Brayden here. I'm just going be telling you about Rm15 and 13's trip to the beach. I mostly enjoyed the crab hunting, even though there wasn't any big crabs. But there were millions of holes. I learnt about the three plants that grow on sand dunes, marram grass, spinifex and pingao.

Talofa Lava, It's Kayla here. Yesterday Rm15 and 13 went to the beach on the 17th of March. We found plenty of dead crabs. The alive crabs were boring. I went for a long walk over the sand dunes. Plenty of people got dehydrated. I learnt the difference between marram, spinifex and pingao. That's it for now.. See ya

The beach!!
Aloha this is Alexa. On Tuesday Room 15 went on a trip to Foxton beach. I learnt how to to tell Marram grass, Pingao and Spinifex apart. My favorite part at the beach was finding the crabs and my least favourite thing was getting cut by the grass on the way back to the busses.

Foxton beach trip!!
Hi this is Summer, yesterday we went to Foxton beach to find out about why sand dunes are so important. The plants that grow on the sand dunes help the sand stay still. They are called spinifex, Pingao and marramn grass. The only problem is, is that we don't want marram grass because it over takes the New Zealands plants.

Foxton Beach
Bonjour this is Mrs T. reporting on yesterday's trip to the beach which was full of fun - especially with the crabs and running down sand dunes (when we were allowed to!). Mrs Rapson took us right into the middle and we planted spinifex seeds. After a 15 minute walk we ended up back under the pines where our lunch and a much needed drink awaited us. Then we went up to the Ocean beach and had a quick look around at the sand dunes by the houses, surf club and stepped/seating area. We arrived back at school tired but happy.
