SKIPPING FOR 2011 JUMP ROPE FOR HEART.
This term we are preparing for jump rope for heart by skipping every Friday and at fitness time. We also have a booklet with some basic skills that we are trying to get better at like basic and running step. These are some of the more difficult jumps: criss-cross, heel tap, double under and peek-a-boo.
Today we practised some long rope activities. It was fun running through the ropes and also doing 'Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear plus the birthday rhyme.
